UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 -  job description

However, there are several models suitable for modelling electricity markets, such as least-cost optimisation, game theory, and bi-level optimisation.
This project will revolve around the general theme of modelling electricity markets. It will study different types of models with the aim of finding a suitable model for the Irish system. Knowledge of electricity systems is not an essential requirement for this position. However, the successful applicant should have a background and interest in Operations Research\ Mathematical Modelling in addition to experience in coding.
