“Global Voices, Local Inspiration” project
NexSys was delighted to partner with (opens in a new window)WITS Ireland (Women in Technology and Science) on the“Global Voices, Local Inspiration”project, launched by Dr Jennifer Keenahan, WITS Ireland's Deputy Chair. This education and public engagement initiative aimed to make research more relatable and inclusive by connecting primary school students with NexSys female STEM role models, particularly in energy and sustainability.
We successfully delivered four workshops featuring NexSys female researchers from Ireland, India, and Iran. The project brought real-world stories to young learners, inspiring the next generation to see themselves as future changemakers in science and society.
Huge well done to all our amazing researchers and the Ops team members who took part in this brilliant project.
